The Goth Diaries + Same Sex Mods

So here I am again!
So this weeks I've been playing (a lot since I'm free from crocheting) with my sims families, mostly with pre made ones like Goth, Pleasant, Dreamer, Broke, basically all from Pleasantview, which was something I never did before (I played mostly Veronaville back when I had all my savings :\) Anyway basically I've made big advances, specially on the Goth family because I had developed it before I lost the most recent savings.

I also installed the same sex mods from twojeffs on www.simbology.com, but didn't install "preg for all genders" mod because I have already the flavour pack that has the same effect from Inteen (so if you have Inteen do NOT INSTALL the "preg for all genders" of twojeffs, as it can cause conflict, same for vice versa), so I installed only the mod to substitute the want "adopt a child" to "have a child", and for the want "have a child" be satisfied when you have a child or adopt it, which wasn't possible before. They said the want "adopt a child" will still appear in specific circunstances like if your sim had adopted a child before though. I also substituted the Civil Union, with true Marriage for gay sims (although if you use the wedding arch, when you click on it it will appear civil union, but I guess that's the object in question that's programmated to display like that :\ Don't know). This also affects gay sims' memories, that now will show "Got Married With Ken/Barbie" for example, which before would be "Got Civil Union With Ken/Barbie" or something like it. There shouldn't be problems though, but make sure your mods are compatible with this ones, and remember to not install Inteen if you install the "Preg for all Genders" mod of twojeffs, or vice versa. In my opinion they are really helpfull, and they simplify things a bit. I may do a video about the changes of Inteen and this mods of twojeffs on gay relationships, but I gotta find my strenght :)

Now I'll leave you all with an update of my Goth family. You all know you start your game with Cassandra that wants to get married, Mortimor that has a relationship with Dina, and Alexander that it's a child. So I'll show you how I developed it.

When I entered the lot, the game suggested me to make Cassandra kiss Don, and I did so, then it told me to take advantage that the situation was hot and tight the knot, and well again I did.

But since Alexander was too much caugh up with the piano (damn piano all the time, it seems my sims are obcessed with it, damn...), when I clicked to Cassandra to marry Don they just waited. Meanwhile I was making Alexander unglue himself from the damn piano, I made them make out some more, turning out (for my big surprise) that Don accepts to marry Cassandra (which on my last lost savings, he didn't, leaving her on the altar heartbroken). I got like "nooooooooooooooo...." but whatever, it was something different after all. So both Cassandra and Don got the memory "Married Don/Cassandra - a rich sim" which clearfied their love story (fake... meh).

 

Here they are! Cassandra was gorgeous, Don was... well Don.

Then they got into the honeymoon spirit and did whoohoo for the first time together (I did unsafe whoohoo, courtesy of Inteen, not try for a baby but with Inteen both actions can result in pregnancy if you don't use birth control) but unfortunently for Cassandra (she wanted it) she didn't got pregnant this time (Thanks god!).

So Don moved in into the lot, so since Cassandra didn't get a baby, I decided to concentrate myself into developing their careers, Don being on the medicine field and Cassandra on the science one.

 

Then I concentrated myself on Dina and Mortimor's relationship, I got them go steady with each other (Inteen), and got engagged and finally they got married, which Don wasn't happy about.

 Don mad at Dina from her betrayal and yes, he was already married, so he cheated first in the end. Poor Dina.

Although many people don't like Dina, I think she is a beautiful young lady. Here she was after marrying Mortimor, showing away her passion for him (money can do a lot :O)

 

Like I did with Cassandra and Don, I've made Dina and Mortimor have some hot time together (whoohoo not try for a baby) and just like nothing, she got pregnant... I was like, you gotta be kidding me... It was unexpected but not a bad thing.

I know many people consider Dina a bad person that only cares for money, but I wanted to make the story work itself out differently. On my story, when Dina found Mortimor, she changed and decided to settle down (that's why she had kids in the marriage, if she only cared for money she wouldn't take the trouble, since Mortimor had already Cassandra and Alexander). She had a kind heart and she helped out at home (although she complained everytime I made her clean up something, pff), and even tried to better her relationship with Mortimor's children, although at first it was a challenge, specially with Cassandra.

And here are some pictures of Dina's first pregnancy (she also got a job in the medice field while being pregnant, but since I don't have a car I couldn't make her go to work, I was also affraid that I wouldn't be able to keep her motives balanced, and that it would complicate her pregnancy, and since she was rich now it wasn't a problem staying home). 

 Dina gave birth 9 months later (3 days to be exact :P) to a beautiful baby girl which they (Dina and Mortimor) named Mona, Mo- from Mortimor and Na- from Dina. Alexander also grew up to a teen.

Right after the birth of Mona, Dina got pregnant of Mortimor again (whoohoo again, not try for a baby, I think Mortimor has powerful spermatozoids?), and after long tries (like three, in which the last I tried for a baby instead of just choosing whoohoo) Cassandra finally got pregnant of Don, sadly I don't have pics to show.

Sadly Mortimor died shortly after Dina got pregnant, leaving a pregnant heartbroken Dina behind, and a desolated daughter (Cassandra) which couldn't take the lost, and had a miscarriage losing, like this, Don's child (I forgot to take pics, but Cassandra has even the memory of losing the child, courtesy of Inteen of course, and it was caused by me :\).

To be honest both Dina and Cassandra had lost the babies (when they weren't even showing a bump) but caused I think of cockroaches, I was fine about Cassandra's losing it (I know it's cruel, but I think Don didn't deserved to have a child :\ At least not from Cassandra), but when Dina came outside to hug Cassandra, and she had a miscarriage, I was like "no. no. no." and went out without saving.

Don, after Mortimor died and Cassandra has lost his child, thought nothing else tighed him to the Goth family (he didn't care anymore of being a good guy specially when Cassandra aborted), so he cheated on Cassandra with Nina but got caught so Cassandra decided to divorce. He went back to being the happy free Casanova he always was. Don never had changed, he just used Cassandra and stayed with her because of the baby after Mortimor died. I always thought Cassandra deserved better.

 Later Mona grew up to a toddler.

After Cassandra's failed marriage and pregnancy she personaly took care of her family, and concentrated herself into studying for her career.

One night Dina woke up in the middle of her sleep on the third trimester of pregnancy and started feeling contractions, but I knew it was too soon to be contractions for birth, so I was affraid she would lose the baby. It was a warning saying she was feeling "premature contractions of birth" and I was "what? why?". She didn't lose the baby (Thanks god! I didn't even remember when I had last saved the game) but I got super worried and confused because she only had sleep low, hunger and all was full, so I still dunno if it was the lack of sleep triggering it, but she was sleeping so I don't know. 

 

Some hours later, she had real contractions and gave birth to another baby girl which she named Lisa.

I was actually expecting well hopping that Lisa was not a girl but a boy, but in the end I was glad anyway. I didn't notice also something else. I named the first baby Mona and the second Lisa, but I didn't make it on purpose or anything. When the other day I was just doing my thing and notice MonaLisa, I was like "I'm a geniuuuuus!!!". I was so amazed about myself!

Lisa and Mona grew up, Lisa to a toddler, which can be seen on the last picture crawling on the floor, and Mona to a child. 

Alexander fell in love with Elle, and went steady with her. When Alexander was almost 18, Dina started feeling attracted to him, and after a crazy night out, Alexander ends up sleeping with Dina that gets knocked up but Alexander doesn't come to know, as he goes off to college with Elle deciding to leave Dina behind and forget about her, moving on with his life and relationship, before Dina starts showing. Later on, Lisa grows up to a child some days later.

Cassandra decided long ago to be alone, love wasn't for her, she thought, so she had meaningless nights with her co-worker Joe and Darren Dreamer, which she always had feelings for. She wasn't careful enough in one night with Darren (I actually wanted she would get pregnant of Joe, and I would bring Darren's wife back and make them be again together but this unexpected thing happened and changed all my plans. I guess in the end Darren and Cassandra are really destined to be together) so she finds herself two months and half later, pregnant and confused. What should she do?

So I have some news for Dina as well, she found someone (rich) some time later, although she always cared for Mortimor she decides to move on finaly, but Cassandra and her half sisters don't find it so great.

Dina goes steady with Malcolm Landgraab, and decides to terminate her pregnancy to not cause any trouble or obstacle to her and Alexander's happiness, so soon after gets engagged and marries Malcolm, but instead of following her, Mona and Lisa decide to stay with her half sister Cassandra, that gets in charge of taking care of them. So Dina gives up her last name to be Mrs. Landgraab, and moves out from the family.

Alexander and Elle got engagged in the middle of their college years. They graduate (They are adults now :) I forgot to take pictures of their engaggement and them on college. I recorded only videos :\) moving in with Cassandra and their two half sisters.

Cassandra decides to tell Darren of her pregnancy, and he asks her to start a relationship together (go steady), she feels reticent at first, but since her feelings for him never changed, and his for her either, she accepts, starting like this a new phase of her life.

One month and half later, Darren asks Cassandra to marry him, because he wants to live the rest of the pregnancy (and life) with her, to help her as well, and wants both their child to have his surname and be born on their home. Cassandra accepts and ends up marrying Darren and moves out the household with both her half sisters, Mona and Lisa, since she is their caretaker.

So now the only remaining sims on my Goth family is Alexander and Elle, which are super concentrated on their carrers, Alexander is in the medicine career while Elle is in the show business field.
