It's a really good mod, and I'm really found of it. It's compatible with all expansion packs, and should be compatible with all pregnancy hacks (it is with Squinge’s hack Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit). It is also compatible with InTeen and InSimenator (but Inteen is not compatible with Squinge's hack Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit unfortunently, I found out by myself with much unfortunate consequences to my own game).
If you wondering how it works it's really simple, there is two versions of this mod, Regular and Random (I prefer the Regular Version). When your sim is about to give birth a new window will appear with three options: "Random", "Pick", "Original" (only for Regular Version, the Random one chooses randomly the number of babies based on the odds, without you having to do anything). Then if you are having a single baby or twins when the babies are born it will ask you to name them and will ask you who you would like to stay home to take care of the baby(ies) (only if both genetic parents are living on the lot, if only one that one will receive the three days off from work), when you choose it that sim will receive three days off from work (if unemployed your sim won't receive anything). In the other hand if you conceived triplets or quadruplets both parents will receive automatically (without you having to choose) three days off from work. If only one parent works, it will ask you to choose, if you choose the working parent that one will receive the three days, but if you choose the home parent he or she won't receive anything. If both parents are unemployed it won't ask you to pick who stays home (I think).
When having triplets or quadruplets there will show the window of two new babies are arriving but ignore it as it can't be changed. Don't be scared if your game stops for a while, it's normal because your game is creating a lot of sims at the same time. A window will be displayed to name two of the babies, when you click ok, another one will follow with one or two, depending if you had triplets or quads, baby(ies) to be named.
Note that when you randomize or choose to pick, the results are based on the space of your lot. For example, if you only have space for two more kids, and you raised the odds for quads, you will only have twins or a single baby even if the odds for quads and triplets are higher than twins and single baby.
So I decided, while cheeking how the mod works, to do a video about it to show around how it really works and the changes it does to it, if people are doubtful that works or that is healthy for the game. Well to mine it was, you only have to always be careful to check the other compatibility of the other mods you own (if you have any, if you don't, don't even worry about it since the mod is compatible with ALL expansion packs).
So this days have been caotic, I lost track of how many times I installed and unistalled my game. First it happened because I installed Inteen with Squinge’s hack Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit, which I didn't know it wasn't compatible with it since I downloaded it long time ago, didn't even remember which page I downloaded it from. So I unistalled all, happy I didn't have many game savings because I didn't play for a while after losing them. So for me, Inteen was out of question (I didn't know the hack I owned caused the problem, I thought my game just didn't support Inteen, which was wrong), to be honest it worked for me two times, and I was happy, but the third time I loaded the game it just didn't start it. So I stayed so much desappointed and bothered.
Anyway it passed, the other day I was uploading my Triplets and Quads video, I went searching the hacks I had, to write down the right name of them, since they were compatible with the babies mod, and while I was doing so I found out it (Squinge’s hack Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit) wasn't compatible with Inteen, so I was like ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh. I deleted it, and installed Inteen right away with some of the Flavor Packs (they are extra stuff, to personalize Inteen, so without it Inteen works normally, if you install only the Flavor Packs, Inteen won't work, I'm not sure if it ruins your game too if installed without the Inteen. Make sure to download also Inteen for the last expansion pack you own, and if you would like to install the Flavor Packs don't add all of them, as some are incompatible with each other like No Adult Teens and College Admissions, I think).
It worked fine, until I decided to creat neighborhoods and install houses. Anyway, I unistalled and installed, and unistalled and installed trying to figure out if it was Inteen or just the house files or even the neighborhoods that made my game crazy. So yesterday I searched on net similar problems (It just didn't start, like I would lanch it, it would do the cd read noise but then nothing happens) since installing and unistalling didn't change nothing, so I followed the advice of someone saying to deleted the cache files. And here there is healthy, and fine again (my game)! And I'm just so happy! (Also I installed my game in english this time). It is working with Inteen and all!
Because of all this trouble I didn't play a lot, so I decided to do so today, I played mainly with the Singles family from Strangetown and added Loner and Roseland making them couple together, yay! Also Erin got pregnant from the Loner guy, by simple whoohoo (Thanks to Inteen, yay! Their first time and first oopsie for their family), they had twin girls (I was super affraid the mother would lose the babies, since I got a sim girl pregnant and the first low hunger level I got she aborted, there is a flavor pack of Inteen that stops this from happening but I think this way it's more human, maybe also more cruel sorry), and I made the other two couples of the house go steady (Thanks to Inteen, yay! It works like teens when they go steady with each other), and one of them (the guy from Roseland family and Chloe Singles) got engagged and moved out to give more space to the new family.
So Inteen give us a new level of relationship. So now we have Going Steady, Engagement, Marriage. It also allows try for a baby for same sex relationships so now my gay sims can have babies normaly (I used to use the InSimenator for genetic babies from gay parents). It allows also my teens to get relationships, pregnancies, and all, which I find also more realistic. Another thing I installed from the Flavour Pack, is College Admissions that consist you must be 18 (4 days left to turn adult, I think) and have a C grade to go to college, and this is just like real life. O.o I also installed Risky Sneakout, and Risky Runaway meaning you can come back pregnant if you do anything of the two (there is a small risk only I think).
I guess now life without InTeen for me would be completly impossible! I also installed the Period Hack (compatible with InTeen and the InSimenator, I also have the nude patch don't rememeber from where maybe Pandora Sims?), so more realistic factor for my game, Yay! This one basically gives you munchies and cramps everyonce in a while and makes you go to the toilet for a tampon (you don't see anything though). I'm not sure if it also messages you if you miss it (meaning you pregnant...) since I didn't experience it yet.
Enough for today, I guess, pff, I wrote like crazy, damn.
I'll go now, as usual happy simming!
I'll let you with a video of a funny thing that happened while testing the triplets and quads mod (it's NOT a bug of the mod!):
Yes, it's the Capps family!
